*heart hug*

we had a crazy person staying with us for the past week.

well, not so much crazy as entertainingly insane, imagine if Zooey Deschannel's charecter from Weeds was in her mid-fifties and British

I was first alerted to the similarities when she walked in the backdoor. I went for the good old introductory handshake, and she went in for the nice-to-meet-you bear hug. What resulted was something approxiamting squishing out arms between eachother. Awkward.

She was pretty cool though,

Exibit A:
Her: I'm feeing a bit sick
Dad: do you want to take somthing for it.? I'm not sure what drugs we've got .  Would you settle for some extacy? (laughs at his lame ass joke)
Her (thoughtful): No, I dont really like extacy. It makes me a bit cold...

Exibit B:
she has these crazy stroies about being in the young comunist party in London in the 70s. the highlights beingthe one about how her first boyfriend went into South Africa at the height of Apartheid adn set off a bunch of leaflet bombs and covered the city squares with them.

Plus, she taught me to swear in yiddish. That was pretty cool.
